We are looking for a skilled early childhood education teacher for Päiväkoti Engel Albert!

Our daycare is small, cozy, and warm-hearted. It is bilingual, with each child group having both a Finnish and an English-speaking caregiver. At Engel Albert, we work with children in small groups.

As an early childhood education teacher, you will be the pedagogical leader of your work team, ensuring the implementation of quality pedagogy. You will support and promote children's development, growth, and learning. In your work, you will carry out planned early childhood education in collaboration with your work team and families. You enjoy working with children and feel that you are doing important work.

In line with our values, you are active, skilled, goal-oriented, and respectful of your work community. You have the calmness to handle challenging situations and enthusiasm for ambitious early childhood education. Success in this role requires a good pedagogical approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to genuinely care for children and families every day. The role requires excellent English language skills and also proficiency in Finnish.

The position is temporary from August 1 to June 30, 2026.

Before the employment relationship begins, the selected person must present a valid criminal record extract for working with children (law on criminal background check for those working with children 504/2002). We only consider applicants who are validly qualified according to Finnish legislation.

Päiväkoti Engel is a private daycare founded in 1993 in the southern region of Helsinki.
